In 2012, Queen Chantal was elected as the Western Cape representative on the National Khoisan Council (NKC), a government-recognized legislative advisory body. In this role, she has been a key advocate for Khoisan rights and representation.

Queen Chantal serves as the Treasurer of the Western Cape First Nation collective Trust, where she with other Khoisan leaders under the chairpersonship of Zenzeli Khoisan has played a pivotal role in negotiating the Black River Project, a groundbreaking initiative valued at R4.5 billion. Under the leadership of Zenzile and other Khoisan leaders, Western Cape First Nation Collective has secured a world-class facility for the Khoisan community, which will house a media center, a museum, and administrative offices for the five Khoisan tribes.

Queen Chantal Revell played a pivotal role in changing the political arena when she with other role players approach the courts to allow independent candidates to stand in the National election. This court case was successful which allow independent candidates to stand in National election May 2024

Additionally, Queen Chantal is the Secretary of the Biodiversity Rooibos Trust, where she has contributed to securing an agreement with the rooibos industry for royalties benefiting the Khoisan Nation. This agreement acknowledges the Khoisan people's historical discovery and use of rooibos long before colonial settlement.

Queen Chantal’s overarching vision is to restore the Khoisan identity by revitalizing cultural practices, language, and traditions that have endured for generations. Her commitment lies in ensuring the survival, resilience, and sustainable development of the Khoisan Nation, empowering it to thrive in the modern era while preserving its rich heritage.
