CHIEF CECILIA AMANSURE
Chief Cecilia Amansure has served as the Chief of Knoflokskraal in the Grabouw area for over five years, where her leadership has been instrumental in advocating for the dignity and rights of the Khoisan Nation. Her efforts are particularly focused on reclaiming Knoflokskraal as ancestral land for the rightful owners, the Khoisan people.
A trained and experienced lay counselor, Chief Cecilia is deeply committed to addressing health issues within her community. Recognizing the critical need for accessible healthcare, she has been at the forefront of advocating for health services in Knoflokskraal, which has lacked adequate healthcare for the past three years. Her passion and determination have made her a cornerstone of health-related initiatives in the region.
As the leader of the Cauaqua Cultural group, Chief Cecilia has fostered unity among the diverse tribes of Knoflokskraal. Her inclusive approach and commitment to collaboration have brought significant stability to the community.
